WHAT IS $ BANANA?

$ BANANA is ApeSwap's native currency. it is important to participate in most of our initiatives, liquidity mining, and liquidity pools.

Apes is the name of the ApeSwap community and no doubt the engineers have created their own token to support their monetary system, ApeSwap has made $ BANANA their token utility to support any kind of movement in their trading.

Why should we trust and use it?

I know the reason for the scam action case because the second mainstream of the BSC, AMM and Rugpull issues created some uncertainty to enter some new projects. However, as I said earlier ApeSwap has multiple audit reports of their code and liquidity has been dashed making them have higher confidence than different projects without the audit itself.

ApeSwap runs on the Binance Smart Chain   and not Ethereum, therefore gas fees do not apply. As a result, this makes ApeSwap a much more viable choice for small retail investors and the general public looking to engage with DeFi solutions.   

How can I use ApeSwap?

The core offering is an exchange that allows users to exchange tokens and earn BANANA. As with all exchanges, there are fees to consider. Each token exchange is accompanied by a swap fee of 0.3% at BNB, 0.05% of the swap fee will go to the developer's wallet. The rest returned to the community.

Get BANANA 

Liquidity mining begins in February 2021 with what ApeSwap calls the BANANA Frenzy. It is a special liquidity mining and betting program to incentivize early adopters and bring much needed liquidity to the platform.

To grow more BANANA, the platform was launched with 5 early yield farms and continues to add farms for well-known projects and partners. ApeSwap started with 5 initial farms:

  • BANANA / BNB
  • BANANA / BUSD
  • BNB / BUSD
  • BTC / BNB
  • ETH / BNB

Initial Kera Offer (IAO)

An Initial Ape Offering (IAO) is a fundraising method used to launch new tokens and bring liquidity to them. In general, you need a BANANA-BNB Liquidity Provider (LP) token to participate in the IAO. Basically the user is trading LP for the tokens that are launched. In the IAO, the project gets BNB and ApeSwap to burn BANANA. To participate in the IAO and see which ones are coming, visit   ApeSwap.Finance/IAO  .

To get ready for sale:

  1. Buy BNB and BANANA tokens.
  2. Get LP BANANA-BNB tokens by providing liquidity at ApeSwap.

What to do during a sale:

  1. While the sale is taking place, do your LP BANANA-BNB tokens to buy IAO tokens. You buy tokens with your LPs. This is not the same as "staking". After the purchase, you lose your LP tokens and get something new in exchange.

What to do after sale:

  1. When the sale is complete, claim the IAO token that you have purchased. Your unused funds will also be sent back to you.
  2. Done! If there is excess demand, you can revoke the remaining BANANA-BNB LP tokens.

ApeSwap uses a method known as the "Overflow" method where users can subscribe as much or as little as they want to the IAO, and their final allocation will be based on the amount of funds they put in as a percentage of all funds put in by other users when the sale ends. The user will receive back the remaining funds when they claim their token after the sale. Basically, the more you put in, the more you will get, and you will get back whatever was not spent.

Future Plans & Token Burning Map for 2021 

To keep the supply of BANANA under control, the team at ApeSwap has been burning tokens periodically and at a significant milestone. BANANA Burn Map V2.0 outlines a burn schedule and any line item in the burn map will trigger the burn. 


BANANA TOKEN

Each Defi platform has its original token which is used in the transaction. BANANA is the native token of the ApeSwap platform. This is a semi-fungible token that is unprecedented in the BSC. It is an Etherum based token.

Controlling BANANA Supply

Currently, there are no actions to control the supply of BANANA tokens. This left it affected by inflation, leaving serious problems for the community, but management does not plan to take any supply measures any time soon.

However, there are steps aimed at making the deflation of ApeSwap products higher than emissions. This will cause the number of BANANA circulating to be lower than the BANANA produced. So,

Reducing Block Emissions

This is a reduction in the number of BANANA tokens created in a block to slow down. This is not a continuous process, but rather sensitizes people to provide liquidity.

Deflation Mechanism

This is the process of burning BANANA tokens and integrating them into the ApeSwap product.
